SEE ALSO: 'Game of Thrones' is proving itself to be leak-proofBy now it's no secret that Jon Snow is part dragon, born of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. Daenerys lost a lot in Season 1. She was sold into an abusive marriage by an apathetic brother; When she managed to turn that around and find love and leadership in her Khalassar, she lost Khal Drogo and their baby who would have been named Rhaego. The guilt of losing Drogo to witchcraft she enlisted caused Daenerys a lot of pain; she wants so badly to be with her family in the House of the Undying, but she leaves to punish herself and atone for her past actions. The dragons are her children now, and she must care for them. Jon Snow is (unbenknownst to her) the closest thing she has to family, and he may soon be in need of saving.
