【Watch Peaky Blinders】 -

I don't remember the last iced coffee I had before the coronavirus pandemic halted my daily commute to Manhattan and Watch Peaky Blindersweekend trips to cafes and coffee shops. But I know it's been at least89 days.

I started self-quarantining in February, and though I obviously miss seeing my family and friends in person, going to restaurants, and seeing movies in actual movie theaters, I'm thankful to be safe and happy to do my part to ensure others remain healthy. I'm mostly fine with the quarantine life, but every once in a while I catch myself thinking, "Damn, I really miss iced coffee."

I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a cold-coffee-only person. I drink cold brew all year and will shamelessly sacrifice all feeling in my hands to carry a cup of iced coffee on winter walks to the office. But my lips haven't sipped on that gloriously chilled caffeine in months, and as the warm weather creeps in I've started having some serious separation anxiety. I know you can pour hot coffee over ice, or brew your own cold brew. But it's not the same, OK? I crave the professionally made stuff, but until I venture back out into the world to obtain it I decided to settle for the next best thing: scrolling through a bunch of iced coffee stock photos on Getty. And that's how this article came to be.
